Vancouver Island Whale Watch

My dad and I went on the open boat in August on a gorgeous, sunny, flat-calm 26 degrees day. Dad is in his 80's and just loved the tour. Just being on the water for 4 hours on a stellar west coast day was fantastic enough, but we also got to see a transient orca pod a bit further away(the T099’s, Bella, Holly, Barakat, Puck, and little T099E), and then a humpback called Potamus (close up). Potamus was napping on the surface for about 15 minutes and then woke up and put on a wonderful tail-slapping show for us before diving down for a snack. She must've slapped the water 30-40 times. We all sat there in awe of the power.
We then saw loads of cute seals on the way back, and 2 other transient orcas in the distance (didn't have enough time left in the tour to go check those ones out).
Our guide Rebeka was friendly, knowledgeable and really fun!

What an amazing trip. We booked a private charter on the semi closed boat and had an absolute blast. Captain Tino and naturalist Carmen were amazing hosts. We were so fortunate to witness the majestic humpback whale 🐋 🐳. We saw over 4 of them and they approached our boat. Truly a once in a lifetime experience! Our whole group can't stop talking about our time in the water. I would recommend this tour highly!

Was a fun trip. Didn't get to see any humpbacks unfortunately, so I'll have to go again but we did see a sizeable group of orcas, and they hunted a seal which was exciting. One breach, so that was amazing. Captain was great, guide was knowledgeable. Was a sunny morning. Thank you.

An amazing day out on the rib, I was delighted to see 4 orca today, Carmen and Tino made it an extra special day with all their knowledge and skills. The orca came close to the rib on their own which was a great surprise. Lots of other wildlife and hilarious sea lions grumpy with the bell ringing when they wanted to sleep in peace.
I recommend this crew to go with any day. Made my holiday thank you

What an amazing experience!
Val was so friendly and very knowledgeable. Gave us so much information on all the whales we saw and even pointed out who is who.
We got to watch a pod of orcas having a T party and a humpback whale with her calf.
