Going to treatment here in the okanagan was by far the best desicion I’ve ever made in my life.The first week was hard,but once I got to know the staff here,and was committed to the 12 steps it got so much easier.There was never a question that went unanswered,and if I didn’t like the answers it was usually because I didn’t want to look at myself with honesty.I learned that by opening up to my counseller and not trying to hide my feelings,I could get past anything that was bothering me.The participants that were here were also very important throughout the whole process.The food was healthy and the cooks and nurses very friendly and positive.I do not believe that I could have gone through recovery in a better environment.I learned a lot about myself.We as alcoholics and addicts are often to hard on ourselves.what we do under the influence of our addictions isnot who we are.Deep down we are good people with a lot to offer to the world.We have to stay positive and not look at the negative side of life all the time.All people have shortcomings in different ways.Reminding ourselves everyday that we are powerless over our addiction is to me the most important part of recovery.We cannot pick up once and if we do we will eventually be right back where we left off.So in summary I just want to say that I’m very grateful to everyone here at this treatment Center for all their support and also grateful to have another chance at life.To all the suffering people out there remember you are not alone.With the 12 steps,the fellowship,and most importantly our higher power we will win this battle.Let go and let God and always remember GOD HELPS THOSE WHO HELP THEMSELVES.

iRecover Okanagan was a great experience, it has changed my life and has given me an entire new outlook on my future. The director and staff are amazing. The chefs are great, good food. It is a nice clean environment and it felt like a home away from home. I had a wonderful experience here and would strongly recommend if your looking for a more personal approach to your recovery.

This place changed my life for the better! In 5 months (since I completed the program) I've already accomplished more than I have in the past 5 years. I am forever greatful. Nice clean environment, friendly staff, good food. Great program! I would not be where I am today without irecover.
