Camelot Haven Alpacas

The best experience ever! I absolutely love alpacas/llamas and it was like a dream come true. Thanks to Julene, we got a very personal and unforgettable experience at the farm. The view is stunning and peaceful and Julene was very polite and informative. We got lots out of our visit and would definitely recommend it to anyone! Camelot Haven is a beautiful place to go and see some adorable alpacas while you're in Vernon. The lovely owner Julene will take you around to different paddocks where you can get plenty of pictures with the male and female alpacas while learning all about them. An awesome bonus is that Julene arranged for us to take some haltered alpacas for a walk as well as sit in with a mum alapaca and its cria. It was a fantastic day with some gorgeous animals and Julene and her husband are absolutely lovely. They kindly gave us drinks while we looked around in the beautiful alpaca products gift shop. Make sure you book ahead so you get the whole experience!

A MUST SEE

My wife and I just got back from our three-week British Columbia vacation; one of the highlights of our trip was a visit to Camelot Haven Alpacas in Vernon. This Alpaca Ranch, set on the hillside overlooking Vernon, is the most beautiful and calming place we visited. We had the privilege of meeting a baby Alpaca (Cria), which was born one hour before our arrival. The Alpacas are adorable with their big eyes and they all have personalities of their own.
Julene's store is also a stop you have to make; the quality of the merchandise is excellent, from local to fair trade goods. If you are a knitter, you will certainly love her variety of natural fiber also. One of our purchases was the Alpaca Hand Felted Soap which makes a wonderful gift and be sure to purchase one for yourself also. We can't wait to use ours.
We especially like the fact that you can book your tour online in advance; it is like having your own personal tour. Thank you, Julene, for showing us your wonderful animals and ranch. Look forward to another visit.
