Mabel Lake Provincial Park

One of my most favorite lakes and campgrounds to go to. Been going there since I was little. People are great !! Lotsa trails and fishing, great store on dock always my fav.

I really love this park and hope to camp here one day. I love coming here to spend the day on the off leash dog beach as there are not many in the Vernon area. It would be so nice if the park staff/province would groom and maintain the dog beach with the same care as the other beaches

We just finished up a great four day camping trip here. It's a perfect spot for kids - playground, bike trails, fishing from the beach and nice swimming areas. There are both dog beaches and no-dog beaches. The campsite was clean, had a great firewood system and was quiet. It was one of two provincial parks we have been to this year that actually kept on top of cancelled reservations making sure people knew which sites were available for a night or two - way to go to the staff/hosts. Other provincial campgrounds we have visited this summer had prime sites sit empty for nights which was a shame because we saw many people drive through and leave thinking there was no place to stay.

This is a very nice campground with almost all the amenities of the major provincial parks. Doesn't have paved roads or showers but it does have flush toilets. The beach isn't really usable until mid to late July and the water is BRISK! Kids will love the playful ground hogs. The playground is also very good. Lots of grassy areas for frisby, etc. We try and go out here every year.

First time at Mabel Lake and all I can say is WOW. Gorgeous location. We had cold/rainy weather and the lake level was super high (expected at this time of year) but it didn't deter us. This campground is great for families and kids and there is lots to explore just up the logging road - cascade falls and the enchanted forest. No cell service and it's a ways out there. Be sure to pack in everything you need!
