nice friendly host, the building could be better with some home improvements

We stayed at this rustic bed and breakfast for 6 nights. Online the pictures of the property looked pretty good. But when we got there, part of the house is covered in tarp and the front door to this mysterious part of the home is padlocked. We wondered what was stored in there and we felt uncomfortable sleeping in a room situated next to unfriendly part of the B&B. The pool is very clean and consists of saltwater but the hardware located in a corner by the pool is unsightly and takes away from the beauty of the pool. It wouldn't take long to build a shelter covering this unattractiveness. The BBQ is old but works and there were a lot of wasps. So bring wasp rackets and spray to protect yourself if you want to grill your lunch or dinner. The owners are lovely and work hard. Our room was clean and the air conditioning worked well. The bathroom was renovated nicely. Also, a young couple with a young child lives on the property in a trailer close to the home. When their friends visit, parking is tight. Overall, it's not a bad B&B but it needs work.
