Newly opened high end winery definitely worth a visit! The tasting experience was exceptional - staff with great customer service and also knowledge on the field and history of the winery. Wines are great at least for those we’ve tried. The view is amazing as well.
A stunningly beautiful winery that's a work of art. The path up to the winery from the parking lot to the main buildings as you walked underneath the two art statues provided an impressive grand entrance.
I've noticed different background music depending on where you are standing and I thought that was a subtle, yet well thought out detail. When you were close to the outside of the main tasting room, the music was slightly more upbeat and fun. The music that was closer towards the restaurant was more spa like and relaxing.
The view you get to immerse yourself in during the tasting is breathtaking. Unfortunately, due to the smoke, we weren't able to sit outside, which was a shame and not Phantom Creek's fault.
We had the premium tasting with the charcuterie board and it was worth it. The charcuterie board was unique and not like any other boards we've had during our wine tastings. The staff were so knowledgeable and experienced. They were able to answer all our questions we had. Our favorite wine was the Syrah, but you had to join the wine club in order to purchase it.
The only thing they needed to work on is the amount of flies inside the tasting room. I know it's fly season, but there should be some way to trap the flies on sticky paper and etc because it took away from the amazing experience as you're trying to swat away flies. We didn't want them to land on the food and one even got into the wine glass and they should have replaced it.
I was a little hesitant at first to make this a stop on my self guided wine tour as I've had bad experiences with high end wineries however, I made a last minute decision to book a premium tasting for me and my husband. I was blown away the second we started driving up towards the winery, the scenery was breathtaking.
When we walked into the tasting lounge, we were warmly greeted and taken upstairs to the private tasting room as the patio was closed due to smoke. Our Brand Ambassador was so lovely and knowledgeable. I've been to almost every winery in BC and I've never met someone as friendly and well versed in wine as her. It made our experience truly exceptional and I highly recommend giving this place a chance as it will become the premier wine destination in BC and likely all of Canada.
This new winery spares no expenses in not just producing good wines but in design and architecture as well. The attention to detailsis jaw dropping. Prices on their wines are very reasonable. Hope that won't change as the Winery becomes more known
