A small park/ beach on the south end of skaha lake in okanogan falls. A nice play area for the kids, swimming and sunning. A little more beach maintenance would make it an even nicer stop.
Love the beach here, always warm and soft clay so it's easy on the feet.
Brought my dog (plus hubs and myself) here to cool off from the heat since our campsite didn’t allow dogs in their lake. I googled some dog beaches nearby and this came up!
Can’t say my dog enjoyed and appreciated it as much as I did because I let him swim for the first time and I think he hated it...but I loved that they had a separate enclosed beach area for dogs and I got to go in the water with him (we couldn’t do that at our campsite).
Can’t say much about the facilities since I didn’t use them, but we did walk to where the bridge/trestle? is and it’s a nice area. Views from this beach were awesome plus it is not super crowded and busy compared to beaches in Vancouver.
Perfect way to cool yourself off and your dog...and your husband. All smiles for everyone.
Nice quiet beach. Not overly touristy. Lots of green space with shade. We spent an afternoon here and had a great time. The only downside is that the beach is not high quality. It's not bad but only a 7 out of 10. You can walk quite a ways I in the water on sand but it gets very rocky once you get thigh deep. It has a separate dog area. I'll be back.
Plain beach. Pretty shallow. Bathrooms and shaded picnic tables available. Part of the beach is roped off to protect endangered flowers.
