James passionate about pottery and the arts. He is happy to share his knowledge and explain the firing process. If your lucky, you can observe James pulling out pottery from his kiln, raku firing, or throwing a vase on is pottery wheel.

Must stop when in Naramata. The man is definitely one of the best at his craft and his attention to detail and creativity are second to none. Best of all James will happily share the creation story for each piece and his work is built to last. Other less complex pottery we have bought over time has chipped and broken down but James' magnificent creations get the most work in our house and after up to 12 years they all still look as good as the day the came off his shelf. When you pick it up you can feel the weight, fit and flawless finish. We will be back as many times as we go to the Okanogan.
