This is the ONLY restaurant/convenient store / accommodation between Princeton & Summerland on the KVR. What's frustrating is that the local KVR map i got didn't indicate that there was food available here. .. and it isn't (yet) listed on OpenStreetMap and isn't on other maps.
The only other place is the 'Chain Lake West Recreation Site' camping.
... so i only saw it was their AFTER camping at the Rec site.
Fortunately, now we have Google, so for anyone reading this PLEASE take time to help edit GoogleMaps to make it better & also edit OpenStreetMap.
& west of the campsite is (supposed) to be a Resort with hot-tub but it's a big hill to get too.
So it's probably worth it to stay here when going along the KVR.
