Beautiful location, well designed and decorated. Good service and a lot of attention to the dishes from a chef's point of view..very pretty and locally sourced ingredients..they get a A+..but lacking in commonsense when it comes to serving..the soups are served boiling hot. One sip seers your palette n ruins the meal bc your tongue is burnt. Coffee is dark roast..to dark 4 me to enjoy. Toast is to hard to enjoy.. the little things customers enjoy are overlooked
Exceptional experience - please make sure you try one of the cocktails. Joel and Michael pour their heart and soul into their creations and source all their ingredients locally. Definitely worth supporting these gifted barmasters and delicious creations.
The food was phenomenal - Duck Duck Beans is a must have!
Came in for food and drinks. Not really a cocktail guy but after Michael explained to me the cocktail program and how Joel and himself forage their ingredients, infusing syrups and spirits with local indigenous ingredients i took his recommendation and had a drink personalized for my palate. Amazing flavours and beautiful presentation.
We started off with the quail and shared the halibut as we weren't too hungry.
Food was sublime. The chefs show all of the items respect. Even the vegetables, giving each item distinct flavour and personality.
Michael made a point of giving credit to the chefs and explaining to us how passionate they are about their craft.
The service was impeccable and not over bearing. I'm surprised to see so much talent and passion in the small town. Gives top restaurants in Vancouver a run for their money.
Will definitely be back again next year!
This place is solid gold! Came here for dinner just before close and we had an exceptional meal thanks to our server Joel (who didn't rush us at all and provided amazing service!)and the bartender Michael (who was friendly and so excited to talk about his local creations!).
The food was exquisite and the wine recommendations were too drawer. Thank you everyone for a memorable meal! Can't wait to come back!
Great food, outstanding views and excellent service. Visited this restaurant twice during our stay. 1st time we gave it 5 stars as everything was practically perfect. 2nd visit we didn't have the same server and one of the entrees was not up to expectations. To the restaurants credit they did take that off the bill.
Recommendations: #1 ask to be seated in Evan's section. #2 try the fry bread, the west coast scallops, three sisters salad and braised beef ribs. #3 ask to be seated in Evan's section for the best service!!! Bon Appetit.
