Crown Resort

This is a great place to stay if you're looking for a place to crash at night so you can to experience the wonders that Penticton has to offer during your days there. We spent the majority of the time when we were here sitting around the pool or gabbing away on the patios outside of our rooms. We were not a quiet group (12 girls) but we were never asked to turn down our music or anything like that. It seems to be pretty central to a lot of cool stuff and we often were able to walk to anything we wanted to do (eg. tubing down the river). The rooms are standard for a 2-star place but they were clean. The showers are horrible as they have absolutely no water pressure and if you get more than 3 minutes of warm water, consider yourself lucky. One of the nights, the caretaker had to check something with the pool and asked us to watch his lovely doggy for a few minutes while he was doing that, I think her name was Lola. It has a very down home sort of feel to it.
