(October 24, 2019, 11:49 pm)My first experience at Elma when they opened exceeded all expectations. The service was amazing, the food was spectacular and the ambiance was superb. On my second trip, I met up with a bunch of girlfriends, and the service was so terrible, that no one got asked if they wanted more drinks after the first round (lots of opportunity to make lots of money there!), the food lacked in so many ways, but the ambiance was still really cool. I wonder if after such a successful opening, they are sitting on their laurels instead of striving to exceed each and every time. I won't be rushing back there again, and unfortunately, if this happens to others, in a small town, it won't take long for them to lose local business, and that makes me sad.
(September 22, 2019, 3:59 am)This was the best restaurant experience I have had in Penticton. We brought my Mom here for her birthday and the service and food were impeccable.
The room is beautifully designed and the service was prompt and casual. The food was so delicious and we all had a selection from the awesome cocktail program.

(September 16, 2019, 6:53 am)Absolutely phenomenal. Service was friendly, attentive, and professional. The cocktails were delicious! Tried one of their features (I forget the name but it was a cross between a Mojito and a Martini with fennel and absinthe). The food was incredible. We were so lost in the moment as we enjoyed the various plates we ordered. Our server (Ebony, I hope I got your name right!) was wonderful and helped guided our whole experience. Thank you!
(September 6, 2019, 4:18 am)We celebrated my birthday at Elma during their soft opening. We had a very experienced waitress and were a group of 16. The food was delicious, wine selections good, we ordered an assortment of meat and cheese pide, appetizers and deserts. All were excellent. It is a Turkish fusion theme, with an absolutely stunning space. We will be back, as we enjoyed the food and the ambience including a stunning lake view.
