D.J's Plumbing

We owns a small business in Powell River townsite. Whenever we need any plumbing service, DJ Plumbing is our first choice.
On the day of new year eve, we had water leaking in our basement (leaking so bad). We called, every plumber and left voice message. Nobody answered and returned their call. DJ Plumbing is the only one who called us back and came to our site after 3PM. He perfectly fix this problem. It is so great that we have a plumber like Tony in Powell River.

I used DJ's plumbing for a line scope 3 years back at the BC housing complex and was impressed with the service and honest pricing but never thought to leave a review.
As a competitor in the industry I'm happy to review an equally honest and hardworking individual as I see Tony going hard everyday. Easily the best and most experienced service company in town.

A great plumber with much knowledge and experience. With the exception of how much is being charged and why. We were charged not only an hourly rate, but also a rate for them to use their own equipment on the job. It came out to close to $400 for 1hr. I cannot say that that impresses me much. It is hard to say if I will return. Out of sheer desperation I may again call. I'm not even sure Air Traffic Controllers get paid that well. I could not imagine an electrician saying that it will be more money if they have to open their own tool kit for the job. A nessecity in any trade, is likley using your own tools. A head scratcher for sure.

I was ready to do my own toilet installation, but kept running into issues. After three re-installs and a bunch of wax seals wasted, I was ready to call in a professional. Tony came quickly and did a speedy and thorough investigation of the problem and of our plumbing system. Turns out the problem was further down the line. Good riddance, outdated plumbing parts! It was great to have him working here. Problem is now fixed, crawlspace is nice and dry, new toilet is installed, and there are no leaks! Very impressed by his attention to detail and his communication skills. Would highly recommend!

Tony and his crew at DJ plumbing are amazing at what they do. Since moving to Powell River I had 2 minor issues i wasn't able to fix myself. So i called Tony up within a few hours(he was busy with other jobs at the time) he came out had everything fixed in under an hour Excited to have him and his crew out redo our old water lines in the near future. ! Great service 5/5 Stars
