(September 8, 2020, 5:41 pm)We visited Toba Inlet September/2019, during a stay at Homfray Lodge. We had such an amazing day and happy we where able to watch and photograph multiple grizzly bears on the river. We watched them feeding on salmon, sleeping and interacting with each other. It was truly a special experience! The viewing is done from covered wooden platforms, so you are comfortable and easy to quietly view the bears without disturbing the wildlife. We could not have asked for a better guide, Stewert, our Klahoose guide was excellent. He was knowledgeable and made sure everyone was respectful of the bears and also shared stories of his home. I felt so grateful to have an Indigenous guide with us during the tour. Everything was beautiful, even with some rain. Thank you, Stewert, and Klahoose Coastal Adventures for an unforgettable experience!
