We had a wonderful experience at the boat yard with our 34' sail boat haul out, pressure washing and great fibreglass repair by Quinn, we sanded and painted ourselves (ps after much trial and error - yellow paint tape was finally the best for lines). Their employees are wonderful, from owner Al to Gary and Quinn - all were very helpful and professional, with forthcoming helpful tidbits of information. The boat yard store is very well stocked to get the job done, and ladders, waterhoses and electrical cords are plentiful. Now if only the rain came in a more timely manner, however we were then 'forced' to have a lovely island-time 4 day staycation! There is a washroom and showerstall on site, supermarket and cafe and pub are within walking distance. I highly recommend Texada Island Boat Yard.
