Dolly Makeup by Lidia

Lidia did my hair and makeup for my wedding a few weeks ago (along with my mother and mother in law) and I would 100% recommend! She’s is very talented and experienced, stuck to a schedule which made me feel very relaxed on wedding day and was an absolute pleasure to be around. Lidia made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day and my hair/makeup held up all day and night. I was so thankful to have her there, everything went smoothly and perfectly!

I hired Lidia and her team for hair and makeup services for my wedding. I had a trial with Lidia where we reviewed pictures and talked about the styles that I wanted, and she was very attentive to dedicated to getting it just right. I felt like she did a great job of listening to me and also providing her expert opinion when I asked. When she showed up on my wedding morning, I was so impressed with the preparations she had done in order to recreate the styles we agreed on in my trial. Other team members (Pinder) of Dolly Makeup also performed hair and makeup services for my bridal party and the moms - and they all looked fantastic! The moms especially gushed over how beautiful and special they felt and looked. I am so happy with how my hair and makeup turned out (and held up!) for the wedding day. On top of that, she was very communicative during the entire process (from booking through the wedding date, and even after!). Lidia is a really nice person and I thoroughly enjoyed talking with her and getting to know her. Lidia was an absolute dream to work with. She's kind, thoughtful, professional, and has a great attention to detail. She did the hair and makeup for me and my bridal crew and everyone LOVED their finished looks. I wanted a more natural look that still popped in photos and she nailed it. She was flexible and understanding when I had to postpone the wedding due to covid and was so supportive and helpful with everything leading up to the day. I would definitely recommend her and would use her services again in a heartbeat. She also did my eyelash extensions before the wedding and I was so happy with them. Working with Lidia was one of the best decisions I made and she made it a truly special day. .

She did my hair and makeup during my engagement shoot and wedding last May. I felt amazing, confident and beautiful afterwards. She also dolled up my mom and sister in law.

She was punctual, professional and easy to be around with and comfortable to talk to.

I showed her photos of what I wanted my hair to look like and I loved the end result on both occasions. She also made sure my hair goes together with the dress I was wearing to complete the look. As for makeup, I also showed her photos but eventually just left it up to her and trusted her to work her magic on me.

I knew I wanted her to do my hair and makeup before even getting engaged because I've been going to her to get my lashes done for years, and I definitely love her work.

Lidia did an incredible job for my wedding. She was prompt to the hotel I was staying at, prepared with all of the things needed for hair/makeup, and was so much fun to spend time with on my wedding day. She did my hair exactly how I imagined it, and more. And the makeup was so beautiful. Both hair/makeup lasted all day through the snow and cold. Thank you so much, Lidia! I hope we are able to connect again when we are in Whistler next time, like for an anniversary photoshoot! :)
