Experienced great care in the emergency department.
I was taken by ambulance to the Squamish ER after a biking accident. From the paramedics (Ginger and Dan) to the nursing staff (Jenn and Honor) to the doctors, everyone was friendly, efficient, caring, and incredibly kind. They alleviated fears, answered my questions without fail, and fixed my dislocated elbow in exactly the manner they described, so I knew exactly what was happening. An outstanding ER visit, though I hope not to have to repeat it anytime soon! Thanks very much to everyone.
Wonderful office , outstanding surgeons and nurses. My procedure was done efficiently and the operating room is ultra modern. This is a fine example of the B.C. medical care. We are fortunate to live in this beautiful province. A particular thank you to Dr. Lisa Aird and her team.
The lab and the emergency dept have always been excellent to me. I am pregnant and have had quite a few visits for various tests, etc..
The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars was because the ultrasound experiences were awful. The tech I had, the 2 times I had a scan done here, was very unfriendly and it made the whole experience kinda cold and disappointing. I've had other scans at different places that were great experiences and even the ultrasound that was done in the ER here one night (by an OB/GYN) was pleasant. I am happy, over-all, with the treatment(s) I have received at Squamish General I just wish the ultrasound tech hadn't been so grumpy as it ruined what should have been an awesome experience to have as a first time mom.
I was so impressed with the excellent care I received from Dr. Sally Clark and everyone else at Sea to Sky Orthopaedics and Squamish General Hospital for ACL and meniscus repair. Dr. Clark was extremely professional and kind. She took the time to explain my injury and the strategy for repair. Going into surgery, I felt like I was in the best possible hands. The surgery at Squamish General Hospital was a very positive experience- the care from the doctors and nurses was so compassionate. Since the surgery, everyone I have talked to also had only amazing things to say about Dr. Clark. She is definitely one of the best doctors out there, especially for knee surgery. I am so incredibly grateful for the amazing care, and for putting my knee back together so I can get back to skiing, biking, hiking and running. I only wish there were more stars to give on this review.
