AlpX Expeditions

This team have crafted an incredible heli biking experience, close to Whistler. They happily accepted our group of ten (a work event) and split us evenly into to two flights of 5 for the quick trip up. The briefings were clear and concise, the flight was awesome and the trail is excellent (mostly black grade tech). Thank you to all involved for a great time. We'll be back.

Thoroughly enjoyable - our guide Gavin was fantastic. The pace was well judged and allowed all guests to enjoy the ride without feeling intimidated.
I’d say the trail was slightly tougher than the blues at the bike park and definitely black in some places. Not super gnarly but very physical as the terrain shifts from alpine rock to loam to dust as you drop altitude. Two observations - one would be to use a tough tyre with plenty of grip - Assegai double down or DH (very loose / sharp stones / small rocks) and make sure if you have AXS equipment to charge your batteries - one of the group had a dead battery. We’ve all done it, but you don’t want it to happen after you wave goodbye to the chopper :0)

Heli Bike Day - Super fun trip and awesome folks. The support team and pilot were super helpful and informative and our guide was great. Can’t wait to come back next year to ride the upper trail.

Staff appreciation day with AlpX Heli biking was an amazing experience which everyone enjoyed! Heli flight was a huge highlight and the mountain biking was awesome. Trail has been extremely well made and both the intermediate and advanced riders had fun. Thanks again for the epic experience!
