Amazing place for a retreat.
Fun place. Rooms were great. ++ hot tub.
Went here in 2004 for 10 days with family. It was awesome
The space is super comfortable and relaxed, the staff were amazing. I got super sick and they made me special food (I was a kid at the time). Food was great, freshly cooked every night. Shuttles into town
I stayed at Alta Lake Chalet in mid-November with a group of 10 ladies for a girls weekend trip. Everyone had a complete and total blast and we hardly left the house all weekend we loved it so much. We ended up cancelling our spa plans as the house itself has all the amenities for rest and relaxation. We all would just flow from one space to the next quite fluidly. It's as if we created our own little world in there. It's solidly designed and the kitchen has everything you could neat to eat in. There's a lake across the driveway and the village is a quick walk. This is the perfect place for any group looking to spend time together without ever having to go far, if anywhere ever at all.
I would give 6 stars if it were possible. The staff was very attentive and helpful. We arrived late, and they were very understanding and friendly about meeting us late to check in.
I hosted a retreat for the instructors of a class that I teach. There were 13 of us, and everybody got their own space. With all of the available space, we were able to conduct our business without feeling like we were all crammed together. The discussions were productive, in large part because everybody walked into the house with a HUGE smile on their face because the house was so amazing.
A few highlights:
The kitchen was amazing, there is enough space that we were all able to contribute to making the meals, which had us working together and bonding as a group, one of the goals of the weekend.
The media room was an incredible space for us to use the screen to present our topics for everybody to see, and discuss. We spent 13 hours in one day in that room alone, covering material and discussing topics. My only regret for the whole weekend is that we didn't use the media room for any kind of entertainment.
The outdoor spaces looked amazing, although the hot tub was the only area that we used (snow on the ground made the decks less appealing.
Overall, an amazing experience, I will definitely be looking to book this house again for the same event next year!
