Avis Car Rental

When our car suddenly stopped working in a parkade in Whistler, Hamish was the most kind and helpful guy we could wish for in this situation. Thank you, Hamish!
Well-maintained rental station, car worked well for us.
No trouble for us even though we had rented our car from Budget and the station is not an official Avis/Budget one. Hamish did most of the inconvenient work for us and helped us in no time. We are so grateful!

Staff are so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately it is impossible to rent a car one way to Vancouver or vice versa - not the whistler branch issue as it is a franchise and Vancouver controls one way rental and there is a shortage of rental cars worldwide - thanks again Covid - you just keep on giving.

Rented for 3 days during our trip to Whistler. Hamish helped us out on both pickup and return and was one of the best and most helpful people I’ve worked with. He was incredibly friendly and gave us maps with detailed instructions for our trip as well as plenty of great recommendations.

He even showed us around the car and told us about what differences we’d face (coming from the United States) when filling with gas and other minor details around the town.

I don’t normally submit reviews for this kind of thing, but I’ve rented nearly 100 times with various Avis locations and this was the best experience I’ve had to date.

I booked a rental the morning of my trip with no issues. Upon arriving, I was met by a cheerful fellow named Hamish. He upgraded me to a more comfortable vehicle for my trip and even let me leave my personal car in their underground parking.

Excellent service and a great vehicle for the drive. Highly recommend them for their friendly and honest customer service :) Thank you Avis Whistler!
