Bear tracks chalet does everything right.
Super friendly staff and owners who can’t do enough to make sure you get the most out of your stay. Spotlessly clean rooms with wonderfully comfortable beds and a hot, powerful shower and great facilities to store and maintain bikes.
The breakfast is simply superb with a good spread of sweet and savoury continental options with a delicious hot cooked course that varies daily.
The atmosphere is relaxed and fun and the location is superb.
It will always be my only choice for a visit to whistler.
It was great too stay with you.
Everything was perfect.
Lovely house. And the personal touch
during breakfast was also fine.
From the couple off Tobiano.
The service was fine, not extra ordinary. Possibly because the workers were all ESL. We were shownto our room and given a tour. The bed was fairly comfortable and the room was clean. We were told that breakfast was 8 to 10, but the sheet in the room said 8 to 9. I went up around 840 and there was cereal, yogurt fruit and a couple pastries on a plate. There was also a plate with a single slice of meat, but they didn't replenish it so I don't know what else had been offered. The coffee carafs were empty where I sat so had to ask for more. I was then offered something with beans and sausages so I accepted. It amounted to canned beans on the plate and 2 sausages (sausages were tasty). It would have been nice if food had been replenished so I was able to have more variety. Something hot besides beans or fresh baked muffins or pastries would have been nice which is what I'm used to from a B&B. Overall stay was fine, but nothing impressive.
Had a lovely stay at Bear Tracks Whistler Chalet - with great hosts, Clare & Martin, and their team. Clean, comfortable, and close to the village & Nesters for easy convenience for shopping, restaurants, and plenty of things to do.
I would highly recommend a stay here anytime, and let Clare & Martin know that I said hello!
I spent an overnight in Whistler in October, and stayed at the Bear Tracks Whistler Chalet. It was a fantastic choice and far better than the places I have stayed in Whistler in the past.
First off, the owners - Martin and Clare - and hosts were very welcoming and directed me to a great place to grab lunch in the village on my arrival.
Once I was all checked in, it was clear that a lot of care had been put into the place. My room had a very comfortable King bed with a big puffy duvet. The ensuite bathroom was compact and very clean. I also had a room adjacent to the outdoor hot tub, which made for a great way to relax in the evening.
After making special arrangements with Martin ahead of time, the two of us went out for a mountain bike ride, with Martin taking me on some amazing local trails. Be sure to consider a guided ride if you're in the area, it's well worth it!
After an excellent dinner with friends in town, I called it a late night and got up in time for an excellent Eggs Benedict breakfast, along with cereal and fresh fruit. What a way to start the day.
Any time I head to Whistler, I'll book into Bear Tracks provided they have a room for me. It's a great place with great people. You'll love it.
