Shady Hazel Farm

We love going to Shady Hazel Farm! Every October they have a pumpkin patch perfect for taking friends and family to snap some pretty pictures and enjoy a hot apple cider and mini donuts.

The farm animals are very social and it’s abundantly clear how well taken care of they are. Depending on the time you go, you can even feed the baby pigs right from your hand.

In the summer you can find the most beautiful flowers grown by them at various farm stands throughout the coast. The bouquets are unique and sure to brighten up any room lucky enough to display them.

Shady Hazel also hosts fun, unique events. You know if they put something on that every detail has been thought through and you’re bound to have a great time. The location is prime and easy to access. Definitely a gem on the Sunshine Coast and I would recommend it to everyone!

This farm is adorable! If you are lucky like I was, you will get to meet some baby animals. Sara and Ian are clearly hardworking and very friendly. The flowers in the summer are spectacular and the pumpkin patch in the fall is a must see. Worth a visit!

The owners are great - very committed to supporting other local businesses and offering the Coast something fun and unique. Ian and Sara are passionate about what they do and it shows in their happy animals, the beautiful flowers grown, amazing local, organic produce and the awesome annual Pumpkin Patch they run for the whole community. Best pumpkin patch on the coast! We had such a fun time with the family last year. My niece loved picking her own pumpkin and checking out the pigs.
The flowers are absolutely STUNNING, I can't wait for my flower subscription this year!
