Up The Creek Backpacker's Lodge

If you are looking for a home away from home UP the Creek is the place. It has such a warm and cozy feeling with fully functional kitchen and sooo many other amenities. It is so centrally located. What can I say about Martin who runs the place? He is a beautiful and caring soul who makes you feel really comfortable and at home.It was exciting to hear about his cycling adventures all over the world. One of best part was when Martin invited us to join for a Summer solstice Bon Fire with his amazing friends. It was a fun evening. For a second I forgot I was staying as a guest. I can go on and on...If you are looking for a warm, cozy, friendly place this is the one. Martin thank you for making our first trip to Sunshine coast memorable one.

Upthecreek is a fabulous option for accommodations. Mel was super helpful when I ran in to a number of bike issues on my first day starting the Sunshine Coast Trail. The place is very well organized although has this great laid-back family vibe to it. Also shout out to one of the other guests - Paul who was super helpful in getting me back on track with my equipment issues Thanks to everyone - highly recommend Upthecreek Plus the gumbo restaurant just down the road is an amazing food and wine experience.

Martin was so welcoming and accommodating! The place is nicely kept and feels homely with fireplaces, books, and bikes to borrow for exploring the area. Great place to stop on your sunshine coast adventure!

It's such a cozy hostel. Martin (the owner) is so friendly and informative. There are nicely corners decorated with details. We stayed in the Cherry Cabin, which is so cute like a fairly hut. Good value for the price, great location near the Roberts Creek Pier.

Nicee place to stay it was rainy as hell on the sunshine coast and i was bikepacking. I stop there for a night. Peacefull and bikefriendly! Thanks guys!
