Hell yea great Canadian Company. Need my parts so I can climb mountains thx!
I discovered SideStix Forearm Crutches about two years ago thanks to various postings on YouTube. I use them almost every day to exercise in our local park. I generally walk two miles with them in anywhere from as little as forty-nine minutes to a little over an hour. The speed very much depends upon my level of pain on any given day.
I have severe osteoarthritis and it has taken its most extreme toll on my right hip and knee. Seven years ago I was told by the physical therapist that I was referred to my my doctor, that I would be wheel chair and bed bound within three years if I did not undergo a hip replacement.
For a variety of long standing health reasons I was not a suitable candidate for surgery.
SideStix have made my life infinitely more enjoyable. They are light weight, fantastically well designed and provide a level of mobility that I thought I would never again attain.
They are not only for people who have lost a leg, but they are equally valuable for anyone with hip and knee problems.
They are custom built by people who care and can help you attain a better life. If you have mobility problems do yourself a favor and have a thorough look at SideStix and also view the large number of videos posted on YouTube.
Happy Walking!!!
Regards,
David
SideStix are fantastic forearm crutches. The cork hand grips are comfortable and do not aggravate the arthritis in my wrists. They are lightweight and durable too. Much better than the standard aluminum models. I highly recommend them.
had my sidestix's for several years now and they are obviously much better then the one's you normally see at your local medical store. I would recommend that unless you have extra money don't get the shock absorbers. They don't do much and are a waste of your bucks.
Love my side sticks. When I got them, my gait improved immediately. I could walk comfortably for about twice the time and distance!
The newer shark grips are fabulous. With the color sticker things to make my sticks bright blue and lacy-ish, they are perfect
