The Spot at Porpoise Bay

My husband and I had an awesome stay at The Spot!
Quiet place, the room was clean and big, with King size bed.
We were on the main floor, window on front street and was quiet. You can hear the car driving but maybe couple of cars only, not a lot of passage there. The Manager (maybe owner?) is really noce and helpful.
Will definitely book there again in my next trip

My husband and I visit the coast often and had previously stayed here when it was under old management for Royal Reach. The new owners did an amazing job with the renovations its completely night and day. The rooms are bright and very comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and accomdating. We met Yash at the front office and he was super friendly, professional and made everything very pleasant. Great family friendly spot and affordable. We will definitely stay at this property again.

Stayed here recently between Christmas and new years.. very happy to have done this. Check in guy (didn’t catch his name) was very thoughtful and clearly cared about his guests, and the hotel was recently renovated with fantastic beds/bedding, keurig coffee machines, fancy bathroom, and the room had a large smart TV which was awesome for keeping up with my shows. The location is flawless, right on the water and only minutes from the main highway. “So close, yet so far” - felt like we were in the middle of nowhere (which is amazing) but close enough to walk for breakfast etc.. has everything you need to cook small meals.. really great experience!

What a transformation! The rooms are clean and bright and totally renovated this motel offers 5 star attention to detail and a $1 million view of Porpoise Bay and just steps away from the Lighthouse Pub. The management and staff are really great. Best deal in Sechelt. Definitely come back again

This boutique-style hotel is under new management, and they have gone above and beyond to create an utterly amazing space. Some of the highlights of our stay here included a very comfortable bed with nice soft sheets, modern upgrades to decor (fresh paint, modern style furniture, new wallpaper), an amazing shower with both a rain shower head and a handheld sprayer, the bathroom has a mirror with its own light and a defogger button, separate guest-controlled heating in both the living area and bathroom, and while we didn't use an air conditioner there is one built into the wall. The room was very clean and well appointed. The staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly as well as accommodating. We got a spectacular ocean view room, and the wildlife in the inlet was so entertaining that we barely watched television. There were several species of ducks, birds of prey flying overhead, a heron, and seals. I hope other guests who come here appreciate how much effort the owner has put in, and I hope they treat the staff with respect and gratitude. We are sad to leave, and really hope to come back here again soon!
