Capt Rick and Roxanne are 2 amazing hosts that love what they do. We easily communicated through email and even though we were green to fishing, we felt welcome and invited. It felt like we were out with old friends! We caught salmon and spot prawns for dinner! 10/10 would recommend.

Ahoy Captain Rick and Roxanne,

Thank you so much for such a fabulous day on the water yesterday!  It was beyond our expectations and a marvelous lifetime memory.

I guess even Captain Rick cannot take credit for the weather, but for the end of October on the West Coast it could not have been better.  Sunshine, flat calm and no wind, absolutely perfect!

Surrounded by humpback whales all day, and a pod of white sided dolphins breaching near the boat, what could be better than that?!?!?!

Being able to have the birthday girl land fish, including a 17.3 lb salmon, it just kept getting better.  Then pulling up a nice load of prawns was icing on the birthday cake!

Rick and Roxanne, you are so kind and caring, and hard working, it was a real pleasure enjoying the day fishing with both of you.

Gulf Rascal charters was the birthday present of a lifetime for my partner.  Thank you again!

Went with a group of five - everyone caught a fish! Roxanne and Rick are great and we had an awesome time (did a half day fishing trip). Also caught a lot of prawns which were delicious.

We booked this charter as an experience gift for our son's 16th birthday and I have to say we could not have chosen a better experience or better hosts. Rick, our captain, set our expectations realistically before we left and set about to exceed those expectations by a nautical mile. We caught salmon, rockfish, ling cod and capped off the experience with a bucket load of the tastiest prawns ever. Roxanne , the other half of this fantastic team kept the stories coming and lines baited. Anyway, ask anyone within earshot in Pender Harbour and they will tell you these two are the "go to" team if you want a successful trip on all fronts. Thanks Rick and Roxanne for making our son's birthday experience so fulfilling (and for us too!)

My 2 sons and I had a great day on the water. Rick and Roxanne were wonderful hosts and the boat was well equipped with plenty of room. We caught the salmon we were looking for along with some other pleasant surprises. We’re definitely going back soon!
