Ruby Lake Resort

We stayed at the resort for 9 days - loved it! Great service - we booked our stay night before, after very stressful evening. Receptionist at the time (Adam) was great, so helpful! Everyone is! Our cottage was very comfortable with nice kitchen and everything you need. Clean and organized.
We had dinner at the resort restaurant , so cozy ?and it was great! Chef/owner is great! Food was wonderful! Service was amazing!

All the staff were friendly, informative, helpful and patient. We stayed in one of the pet friendly cottages - it was older but seemed freshly painted and was very clean and cozy. The scenery was beautiful. We loved having so many different trails right outside our front door! And the food at the onsite restaurant was delicious. Great quality Italian and super fresh. Would definitely go back and recommend to others. Thanks for a great stay!

We arrived there Friday afternoon. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The cottage we stayed in was great and clean. And the lake was fantastic. We were at the lake early in the morning so got to rent the paddle boards as it is first come first serve.

Might take my own paddle board next time just so that I’m not dependent on theirs but this was my first trip there and I will be going back!!

Spacious cozy room. TV clicker not working. The bathroom fan was mated with the overhead light that had to be turned on with the light and it was so annoyingly loud. Bring your on nightlight as it is pitch dark at night. One lady at front desk was super nice , while another was not.The cook decided to take a few days off (crazy after 4 months being closed. So no breakfast, lunch or dinner available. Had to drive 20 minutes to get fed.
Everything else was great, loved the grounds, really peaceful. The lake water was cozy warm and clear.

The camping facilities were decent - well maintained glamping tent was a comfortable bed, electric fire place and mosquito net. The shower facilities could have been more clean but the showers weren't time restricted so ?. The communal kitchen and food prep area could use some work. The resort has a great access to Ruby lake thats about 8 minute walk from the camp site. You can rent kayaks, etc. at the lake and there a decent amount of space on the dock (deck?) to catch some rays. All in all - had a great time and would visit again, if only to eat at Trattoria - their attached restaurant - again ?
