Always nice to visit this park, it is great place for a dog walk, but also has bird sanctuary as part of the park. Try out it offers a great beach for sunning one's self or even a picnic. !!
Triangle Lake is a 7.5km out and back with a nice mix of flat and hilly and lots of trailside mushrooms.
it was absolutely pristine and beautiful. we hiked the Triangle Lake Trail and didn't run into a soul for over two hours...just awesome.
One if the best hikes we have done! The water is so clear you would think you are in the Caribbean! Only it is cold of course! You can still swim....probably in the summer only. The views are spectacular. It is about 5km both ways, more easy than intermediate but it has some steep parts. We saw dogs swimming but on the trail they were on leash.
Very busy recreation area, parking is extremely limited. Physical distancing does hamper the overall experience but necessary in these times. Very limited facilities. Nice walking trail. Low tide best time to come to enjoy sandy bottom. Loved it! Pack a lunch and sunscreen!
