Halibut fish and chips were fresh, crispy, and flavourful. Coconut shrimp are not covered with shredded coconut , but the batter had a coconut flavour. Seriously good.
Seriously good food! The fish was incredibly fresh and you get lots (there's a small and large size by weight). When we went there was a choice of cod, halibut, salmon or shrimp, and they also sell uncooked fish to take home. There's limited outdoor seating only, so be prepared.
Easily one of the best fish and chips I've had in Canada. Chips were great, the perfect amount of batter and the fish was not too dry.
Three picnic tables in the shade of the trees provide enough seating except on the busiest days, parking is likewise not bad unless particularly busy.
The fish and chips are very good. Great yam fries and sauces. Would give them five stars except that I think the poppers are very flavourless and have to much batter/breading. Not the quickest service but your food is very fresh and hot so it is worth the wait.
Love this little place! It had the best ratings for fish and chips when we were out here for vacation, and though it was out of our way for where we were headed that day, it did not disappoint! So much fish for what you pay, you do NOT need a full order unless you want leftovers for two days! Everything tasted amazing, and even the 'chips' were some of the best I've had! I would also recommend the berry crumble if they have it, also another winner!
