Soames Point Oceanfront Suite

I highly reccomend for a romantic getaway, this was by far the best place we stayed during our 2 week vacation. Judy and Tom are the greatest hosts and have worked hard to make a beautiful private vacation spot. We only wish we would have stayed longer. I hope to return for a few nights instead of only one

Take someone you love

We stayed two nights in June. The BnB is down a small hill and on a cliff overlooking Howe Sound. The views from the room were breathtaking, and even though it rained one of the nights, it was lovely just sitting on the chairs in the open balcony listening to the rain and the waves. The suite is unparalleled in terms of privacy, and there is only one suite in the BnB (which is the basement of the main house where the hosts live). There is no access to the backyard except through in the suite, so we had it all to ourselves. The private backyard has Adirondack chairs we used to have breakfast and enjoy the view of the sea. Steps lead down the cliff to the beach and a fire pit and some benches. The suite itself is large and clean with a full kitchen well stocked with plates and cooking utensils, and a large living room with huge windows overlooking the sea. No air conditioning (or at least I didn't see one - we didn't need it as it was still quite chilly even in June)

The host Judy was wonderful and very welcoming. Upon hearing our ferry left at 2pm, she proactively offered to let us stay a few more hours so we wouldn't need to burn the time elsewhere, as there were no other guests coming in the next day.

A truly special place. The setting, the peace, and the hosts make Soames Point a wonderful retreat.
