Loren and Mike are excellent electricians that care and will always do it right. I have used Kalor for all the work at my house over the years and we use them for all our maintenance and upgrading at our large scale shop as well. Great tradesman and great guys to work with! This I DO know
We moved to Kamloops in April 2018, we wanted to get some electrical work done in the basement, additional plugs and lighting. I hired Kalor Electric to do the work very reasonable prices, very professional, very organized. I will definitely hire him for any electrical future projects. Great Job, extremely satisfied with the quality of work provided. Would recommend them to anyone.
I had Kalor install a 200 amp service after I moved to Kamloops recently after several people had recommended them . I was very pleased with the fair price and the the quickness and quality of the job . I highly recommend Kalor
Lorne is such a great electrician. Since moving to Kamloops back in 2004 I have had Lorne help me out with everything imaginable. But the reason I am writing this review now is because last night I discovered my hot tub had stopped heating. It was minus 6 degrees, and the water in the tub was cold meaning that the tub must have stopped working a few days earlier. I couldn't get hold of the company that sold me the tub and so I called Lorne. Even though it was past 10pm, Lorne drove down to Walmart to buy a ceramic space heater because I did not have one. He told me that I must not let the water in the pipes freeze under any circumstances or I would have a terrible mess (and cost) on my hands.
He then came back to my home and worked until past midnight to get some heat going in the pipes so things wouldn't freeze.
Today, he came back, and when he discovered that the pool company that I bought my $17,000 HotSpring Tub from wouldn't come out and give me any emergency help to tide me over until they could get out to me - he stepped in and replaced the circulation pump which failed and got everything going.
While on one hand I am terribly disappointed and let down by the Pool and Spa company that I have been a customer of since 2004 (over 12 years), I am extremely grateful that Lorne at Kalor Electric cares about his customers so much that he literally rescued me from a major disaster when Parklane Pools let me down so badly. Kalor Electric could teach them about real customer service.
I am forever a raving fan of Lorne and his people. Not only that, but he is one heck of a good & knowledgeable electrician!
