An incredible experience! A little piece of luxury in the mountains.

The owners, Aggie and Gord, were authentic, knowledable and kind - I love supporting family owned businesses. They were wonderful hosts who cared about our experience and went out of their way to ensure that we had the best stay.

The activities were awesome - lots to do, even if you don't fish!

wow ! what a cool place ! . Ruddocks Ranch has something for everyone. hiking, flyfishing, plus great hospitality. the views from the first class lodge are incredible. If you get up early enough to catch a sunrise over the mountains you are in for a treat. very knowledgeable staff. The mini cabins across the lake are really cool aswell. thanks again for having us. will be back for sure !

I Just got back into town from the Ruddocks Ranch. I had an awesome time up there, we stayed in the log cabin right on the lake. The drive in from town is pretty good , the roads are pretty well maintained. It was my first time fly fishing and I got a nice sized rainbow trout! It is a catch and release lake so there are plenty of nice sized fish!
We also did an awesome hike that over looks the lake and all the surrounding mountains. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Ruddocks Ranch!

Great staff, wonderful accommodations. We stayed in the lower section of the main ranch log building and it was amazing. We were able to sync with the owners on our second night and had steaks cooked for us Ruddocks style. I don’t normally catch much when fishing , especially fly fishing, but I was able to catch a trout and got some sweet photos to brag about. 🎣
I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get off grid with out loosing the comforts of a home. Thanks again for everything :)

Awesome fishing and amazing owners. I have always had great back country experiences staying at the rustic cabins that have the perfect amount of amenities to allow you to stay out on the lake all day. Love coming up here for ice off and fall fishing. Always looking forward to coming back!
