Fantastic spot with great hosts. We will visit again this summer for sure, could see this being a regular spot for us.

We came her to have a night away for our anniversary. Very well priced. Every Room has a different theme. It has an old rustic feel. Very cool. . Hardwood, wainscoting, real wood furniture, Fireplace. Even have a hot tub and pool. Bed was super comfy. We enjoyed ourselves very very much.

We needed a weekend away, the staff were so nice and helpful! Nice place, very clean! They put a fridge in our room, but no coffee pot, we are usually early risers and waited till 7 when they put out coffee. Beds could be updated but still was so nice! Was able to bring out dog which was very nice.

Perfect romantic weekend getaway!

The place has character and "old looking" but UNLIKE old places, this place was clean and well maintained.
The staff were extraordinarily friendly and helpful.
We had the mountain view which was supposed to be quieter but honestly this is not a noisy environment. The setting is breathtaking and we want to go back!

Liked - Beautiful setting and property. Outdoor pool and hot tub overlooking the lake.
I enjoyed the free bikes to use and the farm animals.
The bed was really comfy and the rooms were very clean and quaint.

Disliked · Price point was high considering the location is far from town, it was a mid-week stay, no inclusions, no Cafe or restaurant to purchase food and no fridge, kettle or microwave in the room.
I requested a room upgrade seeing as the hotel was fairly empty and the lowest price room was already high but they didn't accommodate which is surprising considering the above and that they would want to be encouraging good reviews in this economic downturn.
The air conditioning was all or nothing, no temperature control.
Traffic noise loud from the pool area, could use a water feature or music to drown it out and create more relaxing ambience.
Finally, we arrived before the checkin time and felt quite unwelcome because of that. Its common to arrive early and if the room isn't available for the staff to offer use of the facilities while you wait, however the staff we spoke to just kept saying checkin isn't until 4pm, I had to ask if we could wait by the pool in the meantime. He obliged but didn't even show us where it was.
