Berry Fun Farms

We went to Berry Fun Farms twice this year to pick strawberries. I gave this place 5 stars based on following criterias :
1. Location : it takes about 10-15 minutes to get there from perimeter and McGillivray Blvd intersection . Not too close to the city and not too far away - just perfect.
2.Accesability : I hate gravel & rural roads, so paved road is a important factor for me . Road to BF farms is 99% paved in a good condition ( compare to WPG roads I would say it is a ideally smooth highway ) only last kilometer is a gravel road , but in a good condition.
3.Strawberries : Berries are amazing , sweet and in a good size . Field is huge, a lot of berries , it took us ( two adults + one child) about 20 minutes to fulfill 3 baskets.
4.Managment : People are SUPER friendly and helpful, it gives you family atmosphere. All rows are organized , so you are getting clear direction where to pick , and where to switch if you done with first location. Farm has bio toilet , option to pay credit / debit. Place is quite ,not crowded , no mosquitos. So you are enjoying your peace and quite when picking amazing strawberries.
Overall: one of the best U-pick places near WPG, give it a try in next season - you won't be disappointed.

It was a great experience..! We went there with the kids not knowing what to expect and it turned out to be a fun evening.. it's a nice family run farm and the place was big.. they had over 40,000 plants and we were able to fill up two whole boxes with ripe and delicious strawberries from just 3-4 plants.... Before the pick Kate explained what to pick and also insisted we snack on the fruits during the picking session and it was delicious... And It's just a 40 min drive from Winnipeg. Highly recommend..!
