Such a great community. Fantastic for all ages.
Very well maintained. And wonderful management.
We have had good service and quick response to any problem. Things are slowly coming together and we expect a few hicups as things are being built, it's a new resort wait a couple of years and the waiting list will be long for here. We are very happy we have found this place.
We were camping at the provincial park and decided to come check this place out. Spoke to one of the owners as well as the campground manager, they are both very friendly, live at the campground, and are quick to respond with any questions! Lots of ambition and drive to build this place up! When we went by the playground was in and the splash pad is in place but still waiting to be completed. Pool is going in this year and we are told both the pool and the splash pad will be heated! This is a great plus for the early spring when the lake is still cold or frozen, as well having a pool if the algae at the beach gets bad.
Everyone we met at the campground was very friendly, we like the fact that this park is right outside the provincial park gate, close biking distance to the park and tons of hiking trails and beaches, but love the fact you can take a quad or dirt bike out from the campsite and to the trails. Did not notice any excessive noise when we visited the campground twice on Saturday and twice on Sunday at various times.
We decided to pick out a site for 2020 as they just finished Phase II and was still a great, but dwindling supply of excellent sites. Looking forward to spending our summer next year out here and for the kiddos to make some new friends!
Newer campground with well tended sites which are neat and clean. Quiet during the week but on the weekend, parents let their kids drive quads, motorbikes and golf carts round and round and round the campsites which disturbs the quiet.Website says the sites are 70’ deep but my camper is 35’ and there is not 35’ extra space so perhaps they are including the septic tank and area with trees and foliage. Cleared space is more around 50’ long. Management is on site and are quick to deal with any issues. Sign out front says there is a splash pad, basketball nets, washrooms, laundromat etc. but these are future builds and not available as yet. Grand Beach Park entrance is close by so just a short drive to the water which is great. A family oriented place.
