(August 15, 2016, 4:09 pm)The River Gate Inn was without a doubt the best thing about my trip to Winnipeg. Don’t get me wrong: I loved the city! But it was the accommodations: the beautiful gardens, antique style furnishings, central location, and welcoming, refined atmosphere of the inn that made my trip unforgettable. Mavis’ gourmet complimentary breakfasts truly deserved a 3-star Michelin rating! As does the inn a 5-star rating here. I can’t recommend it too highly.
