Afro Caribbean Association of Manitoba or ACAM for short is an organization that caters to the Caribbean/African community in Wpg. Their hall is at this location and holds a lot of cultural events.
They exhibit major qualities of an African-caribbean association with open arms to welcome and help members
Great atmosphere and lots of history as one of the long running Cultural Organizations in Winnipeg
I commend the vision of previous community members to take action on the dream to create this social venue for the black community in Winnipeg. The building has been very well cared for. They have one of the most well stocked, clean and well organized kitchen I've had the pleasure of helping out in. Let's all work together to preserve this for generations to come.
I went to a Christmas Supper and it was great - the people were very hospitable and make me feel at home.
