Mere Hotel

My favourite place to stay in Winnipeg! Rooms are spacious and well appointed with absolutely everything you need! Gorgeous location with great coffee and food a few blocks away as well as great walking along the river.

This hotel is beautiful, smaller, and very clean. The front desk was very nice. They were helpful of all questions. Its location is perfect. There is a park right there where you could go walking or bike riding. There was a resturant in the hotel. They offered room service. There was also lots of resturants in the area and shopping! Loved the stay.

Stayed here for a one night get away with my husband. This was our second stay and we love the location and look of the hotel. However, after this night we will not be coming back. The flashing lights from the light show outside were so bright in the room even with the curtains fully drawn that it was like a cop car with lights flashing was parked right outside our room. The sound from the heating/cooling sound was insanely loud every time it came on or off. I've seen many other complaints about this and managements response is always that they are working to fix it but obviously that is just a cut and paste answer and not the truth. The lights have been complained about too. Why not just shut off this ridiculous display at 10 or 11??? So despite our love of the location and ambience we will not be back

Edited March 18/2019 - Manager was fantastic at reaching out and trying to rectify the situation. Will check to see if the lights were maybe just angled wrong that night. Because of the excellent customer service I have revised my rating.

I love this hotel but... The Internet is unbelievably slow. It's hard to do business from your room with an average 1-2Mb download speed. I love staying here but I will have to look at other options if this isn't addressed. If download speed is not a concern, it's a great location, beautiful, well designed hotel and worthy of the 5 stars if they can fix this one problem.
