I've used this company a number of times for a number of issues. That alone is rare praise. I get the feeling that they care, they listen, and they provide "fair" value. Having repeat customers and establishing a good reputation/brand seem to be part of their service. In the world of contracting, that is a rare value.

I have used this company for many years.
I find they are very good and extremely professional

Called the emergency line for sewer backup. 11 hours later still no technician. Called again, new person had no idea who I was and told me to call another company because they might not have the right equipment to sort the issue...and that I'd get charged anyway even if they couldn't do anything. I understand time is money, but my time has value as well and this information would have been good 11 hours ago.

3 stars for having integrity, but I can't recommend calling this company if you run into issues after hours. Now I'll be waiting at least 17 hours from my original call to Balcaen and Sons until another company can come look at the issue...that's a long time in a house with three people, a new baby, one bathroom, and no flushing or showers.

We have used this company twice. We found great service and I liked the price..it is hard to find companies that will come into the innercity and treat us fairly. Thank you!
