Favourite pizza chain in the city. This location kinda sucks compared to the downtown one though.

Great crust! Thin and stretchy with crispy bottom. Pizza is traditional Italian style

Very good service, staff greets customers with a smile, which is always a guarantee for good mood.

The food was served pretty quickly, and hot. The portions were huge, we couldn't finish what we ordered. That is why it's great that this place has an option to take leftovers. Even tha packaging was evidently thought of (for example, the plastic dish with cover for meatballs in sauce), which is a minor detail, but the general impression always consists of small things.

The food was delicious! And the prices were reasonable (dor example, huge portion of salad with chicken was around $12).

The interior of the place is pleasing, too. Cozy in general, great that there is enough space between tables giving some privacy. Also, interesting idea that customers can see the pizza making process.

Carbone on St Anne's Rd is one of our go to local restaurants. The staff are always welcoming and the atmosphere is comfortable. But it is the food that we enjoy. Last evening we began with the Grilled Cauliflower, a first time trial. The Cauliflower needed to be warmer. It had a nice charcoal grill on the florets, nicely complimented by the mildly lemon flavoured hummus. The only jarring note were the dried chickpeas that were meant to add texture but only added an unpleasant crunch that made me concerned that I was breaking a portion of a tooth at each bite. Perhaps a some grilled pumpkin seeds would add the necessary crunch and flavour.
And I still stand by my opening statement that the food is very enjoyable. We had a caesar and the arugula salad. Their salads are always fresh and the vinaigrettes are delicious. We went with the Old White Pizza, adding prosciutto, and it was cooked to perfection. If you have not tried a Carbone ,I urge you to try them out.

when I went for pizza an obnoxious young boys hockey team and their parents "supervising" from the bar were also there. somehow the staff managed to provide excellent service and great food while also respectfully doing crowd control on the kids. the staff were awesome and kind the whole time!
