Brazen Hall Kitchen & Brewery

Had the ribs and an Stout. One word only: AMAZING! The ribs were cooked perfectly and were delicious. If I ever go back to Winnipeg would definitely go back.

I wasn't wowed on my first visit. I don't think it was a good choice for date night with my husband because it is very loud. We didn't expect it to be loud. However, it might be a good place to go with friends. I liked my beet salad. The burger I had was standard. The service was satisfactory.

I’ve been to Brazen Hall a few times and the experience has always been really positive. You’ll pass their meat smoker when you approach the entrance. Smells soooo good. The food is really really good. I love the food at this place. My favourite thing so far has been the brisket open-face sandwich. Others that I have gone with have really liked their burgers. Servers have been really chill, attentive and friendly. Our one server Emily was especially great. The look of the place is pretty cool … lots of wood, a casual bar setting, a sort of lounge area near a fire place, the bathroom sinks have this old-school pipe system that water flows through, etc. Good attention to detail. Apparently, they have live music at some points during the week though I have never been. They also have daily specials. They have private rooms you can rent out for functions. I usually come during daytime hours, but I think this would be a really fun place to come for a drink and pub food at night.

My wife and I went to brazen hall last night and it was our first time! The atmosphere and ambience were awesome. The food menu was so great we couldn’t decide what to order! We were extremely impressed with the outstanding service from our server Kayla. She constantly made sure we had everything we needed, she was extremely friendly and had many great suggestions about the menu for us. We ordered the burnt ends, the Brussels sprouts and the cauliflower and they were all amazing! Her beer knowledge was outstanding as well. My wife and I usually steer clear of beer but Kayla convinced us we had to try “brazen” beer and she was definitely right! It’s incredible! Best beer I’ve had in a long time. It was an all around great experience and the best service we have had in a long time! We will definitely spread the word and can’t wait to be back.

Fantastic as always. Smoker menu might be small but the smoked items are better than most of the BBQ restaurants in the city..almost better than I can make myself.

I just read down the list of reviews and thought I'd add my 2 cents regarding the table turnover comments and service.

We go to Brazen a lot, twice a month or more. I've gone as a group of 2 through 6. We've never been rushed out and we definitely stay longer than 2 hours.

I read a few comments about the service as well, these are my thoughts. The men and women who work at Brazen do a fantastic job, they are all well groomed, appropriately dressed, attractive people.

We are never rushed to order, our drink orders are always prompt, we've never sat around staring at an empty glass for too long. Food orders are quick appetizers and finger food are always prompt and main courses get the attention they need to be perfect and always arrive within 30 minutes of ordering.

I believe there could be some improvement in the service wherein they could go from getting an A to getting an A+. But that's too much to type on my phone. Perhaps as I've been spoiled by Brazen I'm just nitpicking anyway.
