  One of the best Chinese restaurants in Winnipeg! Great service good food. Try the Deep Fried Squid in five spice salt. You won't be disappointed!

  Authentic Chinese Restaurant in this area?! WHAT!!! Moved here from Vancouver BC and I'm so happy to have been introduced to this place! Looks like renovations happened for this whole area. Ordered lemon chicken, chicken balls, Peking style duck with snow peas (it's winter after all), and pork fried rice. Had sauce separate for the lemon chicken so that I could share with someone the next day. Now to rate; lemon chicken was perfectly cooked and the coating adhered properly to the chicken without being gelatinous yet was crunchy (not overly hard). It is best to have the lemon sauce with the dish though as the batter is a bit thicker to soak the sauce while staying crunchy yet not greasy. If you order the sauce separate let it soak in. It was very tasty with in house made lemon sauce (instead of bottled sauce). Bought from Wintergarden and it had large enough chicken and a nice fluffy yet crunchy exterior. Sauce is also made in house which was delicious as it has a punch and not sickeningly sweet like bottled sauce (ie. it tasted authentic as I've made chicken balls and sauce by scratch at home when I have the time). The Peking style duck with snow peas was magic ???? the onions were sweet and large enough to keep it's crunch, the snow peas were cooked perfectly to keep the crunch and soak the delicious viscous sauce like the sweet white onion and the duck... THE DUCK was not gamey and mild in flavor. This will be a staple for winter! Incredibly delicious! Finally the pork fried rice was the most prettiest pork fried rice I've ever had which was almost jewel like with the textures and flavoring being well balanced on saltiness yet not greasy, dry, or overly moist. Found myself picking out more pork so will need to order BBQ pork by itself next time as it was tasty on it's own. Will be coming back to try more dishes and will order Peking duck but of course will give a days notice for this group delicacy as I usually do in Asia and in Richmond BC. Food is great and closer to authentic so will come again.

  I personally loved the beef with ginger and green onion, however a bit too much white onion in the dish for my own liking. The breaded shrimp with sweet and sour was delicious, and the Panko breading was light and crispy. Staff was friendly and food came out fast.
