Best years of my life

Went here around 2005 or 2006, and have mixed feelings. My classes were fun and the teachers cared, but the guidance counselor was a little too overbearing. That wouldn't bother me on it's own, but a friend of mine was facing a 100% worse situation, and was being more or less ignored. On top of that I knew several students who stole from the local seven eleven, and the school did nothing about it. I think they mentioned it in an assembly once. Aside from those two things I enjoyed my time here, and if those two things have been fixed, then all power too them.

This school sucked. First off, from what I heard one of the office workers stole a lot of money from the schools annual Walkathon. Luckily she was fired the following summer. I’d hate to admit but there was quite a few pupils of mine who stole from the local 7-Eleven. The classes were good, too bad some teachers of mine left the school the year after I left for high school. For whatever reason there was always a broken microwave~if not multiple.~ Phys. Ed was a good class, only problem I had was hearing about theft in the change rooms. The school also messed me over and a lot of other people by changing the grade 8 sheet. Forcing near half the school into their dance class. Let’s just say I know a lot of people who didn’t enjoy the school’s sudden choice of changing how secondary classes were set up. Spanish class was rather unique in its own way. I was happy to have the teacher I did. Whilst the other one was pregnant. Even if I didn’t get the best grades I’m definitely doing great now. They didn’t really put much effort into anti bullying; Almost avoiding all situations even if we were told to “tell an adult”. The ‘cafeteria’ was special. The food was sometimes half cooked but you know what? They didn’t really have the supplies to feed 500+ kids during the lunch hour. I hope you~River Heights School~ reads this and does slight adjustments so the schools future is healthy and better for those who attend. Shout out to my math teacher, he was a pretty good guy, doing what he could for us to understand the course.
