Can fix any piece of electronic equipment you bring to him at a reasonable price.
Wayne fixed up my Sony amp,the amp was very old and hard to get some parts. He worked on that amp for Amost a month,He walked me through every step,of the repair process.and did such a awesome job, that if I have to get something fixed,I will take it to him, Great service and follow through!!!! And I have been to their shop,s that do not even match his service.cold take your money take the product home some thing happens and they bill you again, not there it is what makes his shop the best,he will look and fix till it is right!!!!
Positive experience all around.
Knowledgable, honest service.
They fixed a tweeter in one of my home audio speakers, and I wound up getting A Jamo powered subwoofer from them for a good deal as well.
When I need my electronics repaired for work , I go to Wayne at Stefanko Audio Video. The repair is done quick, and much faster than If I sent it away. Having someone I know and trust in the city makes dealing with electronic repairs easy. You can't go wrong with Stefanko!
It was overall a positive experience for me. Though I do think that a $65 upfront/flat fee for analysis alone, and not a fix, can be a tad bit expensive for a commodity that was, let's say $200 about 5 years ago for example, but the work done/workmanship was totally worth the final amount I paid (about a $100 more).
I got a subwoofer for an Altec Lansing 2.1 speaker system (that was very bashed up inside from bad international shipping handling from UPS) fixed from Wayne, and it works perfect now, just like it was the day I bought it. Would I go there again to get stuff fixed? Definitely! Then again, probably only for more expensive products, that are worth more than a $65 analysis fee.
I do not agree at all with the negative reviews below, and I assume it was from folks whose devices couldn't be fixed post the $65 analysis (Stefanko is very open and transparent about the initial non-refundable fee, so it's completely your decision whether you want it fixed or not). I'm the sorta chap who wouldn't mind spending a little extra to maintain much older gadgets that work beautifully and continue to, so I'm very happy with the fix done for me. Much thanks!
P.S. I liked the nice gesture of being sent a postcard with a kind note of thanks from them later too. Good customer retention move + genuine thanks towards the customer always helps build trust and a long standing gig going with your Repair King. :)
