Vera Pizzeria

Vera is a favourite of mine. Nothing better than their amazing pizza with a glass of wine.

Best pizza ever. Best staff ever. The environment is so cozy and positive and the more I say the less it is. Absolutely loved it. 14/10. Extra score for the beautiful staff.

Vera Pizza is a great thin crust pizza restaurant in Winnipeg. They have a patio in the summer with places to lock up your bike, so you can always bike here and load up on carby pizza on the patio while keeping a eye on your bike and then burn off some calories on the trip back home :p. Serving staff have been great. The atmosphere is warm and not at all pretentious. Dress is casual and relaxed. The meatball appetizer is really good. In terms of pizza, the one with prosciutto and arugula is awesome.

I heard that this place can have lines down the street so we had to give it a try. Luckily it wasn't too busy, and we were even able to sit on the patio. Service was quick and we got the food quickly too. I'm a believer that the crust makes the pizza, and the crust is crispy on the outside and has a nice chewy texture as well. The ingredients tasted fresh. Not a heavy pizza, which is always good.

Wow! Pizza here does not let down. Service was really good and our party left full and satisfied. Other than a bit of a wait to get in to this little gem I wholeheartedly will be back!!
