Safeway River Avenue

An absolutely terrific grocery store! They have everything, and it is very clean. They also have good special sale prices. If I lived nearby, I'd definitely be a regular customer.

Never have a problem finding what I need here, shelves are stocked and organized. I usually use self checkout but the staff I have spoken with are informative and friendly.

Great pharmacy staff. In the cashier end of things how come turnover is so high? And line ups in last hour is way to long plus you closed off the wrong exit. You make people walk in the wrong direction to other stores and bus stops. Bags are heavy but not if we buy less cuz of the walk through the parking lot with transients asking for donations.

Safeway on River Avenue is my favorite store in Winnipeg. It's generally clean, you can find pretty much everything you need/want, and every week there are good deals on. They have enough self-service machines for payment as well as a good number of human-serviced cashiers. The location is very central and easy.

A wonderful store to shop at. This location has a great selection of foods both prepared fresh in their bakery and deli or brought in commercially. Either or, I appreciate the fact that they still have an instore bakery and deli, it wouldn't quite be the same without them.
