MC's Curry

We had just dropped our daughter off at fit body boot camp and wanted to eat supper while waiting. The place we wanted to eat at was not open and is still being built.

We decided to go into MC's Curry and look at menu, we almost left, as we were very unfamiliar with the items on the menu. The name of dishes were different from what were used too. We decided we would take a chance and try two dishes we had never tried or heard of before, and this is what we tried, my wife ordered Lamb Masala and I ordered Lamb Curry, we wanted Vindaloo but was not a choice on their menu. We also ordered Appam and Chapathi, Naan wasn't a choice.

OH MY GOD, this turned out to be the best Indian food we had ever eaten, and for the first time trying Appam and Chapathi, they were very good. The blend of flavours were mind blowing and a real explosion of the senses. To says we were impressed is a huge understatement. This place should be packed to the rafters with customers, but as we have now found this gem, we will enjoy in obscurity until the word gets out how good their food is.

So impressed and still hungry we ordered rice to lap up the remaining masala and Curry and also ordered four Samosas too go. Another reviewer wasn't big on the Samosas we found The samosas to be like the rest of the dishes we tried. A fantastic blend of flavours and spices. The pastry covering the samosa was like a puff pastry and was very light and flaky, again some of the best samosas we have had, A bit small but other than that great flavour.

Will we go back again? Absolutely, I can't wait too try some other dishes. We had a short conversation with the chef and he explained he grinds his own spices and I have to say he is very good at what he does.

The restaurant is clean and quaint. Can't wait to go back and hope too see all you Indian food lovers flocking here, you won't regret it.
The pineapple lime drink is made from fresh limes and was very refreshing.

Had the pleasure of eating here for the first time and I was very impressed. I don't eat Indian food often but it was fantastic. I recommend MC's Curry to anyone looking for a good Indian meal with excellent service! They also have great vegetarian options for those vegetarians out there like myself.

The food was phenomenal and quick service. the server was very kind and attentive and everything was top notch. It is must go-to Indian restaurateur in Winnipeg!!!

I had the chance to have some bamboo biryani and I absolutely loved it. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the spices were on point. I would recommend this to anyone looking for some good south Indian food in Winnipeg.
