Lamar Donair & Burgers

Absolutely loved the food from this fine establishment. I ordered the beef donair w/ Donair poutine. Seasoned to perfection with large portions. Will definitely be coming back excited to try the whole menu.

Chicken shawarma platter was incredible. Huge portion, so much chicken. Amazing flavour. Some of the best hummus I've ever had. :) only thing missing was hot sauce, but probably because I hadn't asked for any in my skip order.

Beef Burgers and Donair are decent. The chicken burger was not as exciting. The prices are very reasonable. Not a lot of room for large parties.

I loved the place. They kept the cook area clean and tidy. The seasoning they use on their french fries and onion rings... I want!
Had the regular Donair as a meal and it was MORE than enough. Onion rings were fantastic. Took half of my Donair for lunch the next day.
I will definitely be back!

This is an initial review. The restaurant has only been open for three weeks.

My favorites here were the poutine and the chicken wings!

Fries come with everything and they are Delicious. I'm a big fan of Costco fries and they seem battered in that kind of way.
Price point seems decent at around $12 (some a bit higher and some lower $10-$15) for your main course (choice of shawarma, burger, salad, etc), fries and a drink (canned soft drink).
I was told if you don't want it in a combo you could just get the entree for $3 less.

I wasn't very hungry when I got there with my friends so I just sampled some of the food.
Most of the food we ate was cold (not the restaurants fault we waited to eat it) so I don't want to comment on their not fresh stuff as we got it fresh. That wouldn't be fair to the restaurant.

Parking is available in a large lot, but it was still pretty full when we went.
