I followed Dr.Sodhi as it's taken me a long time to find a doctor who knows their job in and out, and doesn't waste time like 99% of other docs. I've been seeing him for about 4 years.
He's super professional, compassionate, not a pill pusher and helps you get the care you need.
He'll get you blood tests done often and if even something is off, he will request to investigate further and suggest different tests to find the issue and cause.
I couldn't be any happier with this incredible man.
He speaks excellent English, with a bit of an accent ao you may have to ask him to repeat something, but he is always very thorough about everything to make sure youre not leaving with unanswered questions.
Receptionists, well basically what everyone else said. Some can be f-ing rude, some are really nice.
I personally have never had an issue with the receptionists screwing up any of my medical files, and I've always gotten a call to make a following app after any sort of test.
I can't comment on the walk in times, as I tend to make an appointment due to living out of the city, but when they first opened, there wasn't any wait. I think because the doctors are good, the word got out and now everyone wants to go there.
I mean, who wouldnt want to see dr.sodhi? Haha.
I've heard very good things about the other doctors from dr.sodhi, but I've never seen them myself.
EDIT 04/2020: i have seen the female doctor, I forget her name though. She basically is a male version of Dr.Sodhi, and is an excellent doctor.
I have also seen dr.Laval, the inhouse psychiatrist. He immediately know what you're talking about and confirmed several diagnoses that I had predetermined myself in a 30 min conversation. I've also done extensive research on mental issues I have, so I am fully aware of what I have.
If you value an excellent doctor, I highly recommend and only recommend the doctors from Southend Medical.
It sucks, but just deal with the receptionists being rude af, be rude back ? Cause the docs are worth it. I promise
