(September 23, 2018, 8:17 pm)I visited Hawthorn Beach in July 2018, this development is a nice quite area. Not busy like many other developments in the area. It has a rocky,sandy shoreline with some bulrushes which is quite typical for this end of Lake Manitoba. There is no boat launch. The municipal road allowance runs right to the lake which I guess if you wanted to launch a boat you could, very shallow. This road is not part of the development. There is a couple of homes/cottages that are built and from what the developer is saying there will be more being built soon. Prices are very good for a nice size lot. Overall it is a nice quite little development.
